​MEICA Project Engineer - MEICA & Civil Tier 1 Engineering and Delivery Contractor specialising in clean and wastewater projects are looking for a senior MEICA project engineer

Candidates from non-water backgrounds will be considered if you have a strong construction engineering within 'process' projects. (EfW, Pharma, Oil & Gas etc)

Site-based position requiring expertise in electrical and mechanical engineering, program management, risk assessment, progress reports, and commercial monitoring. The project works range from £2m - £8m in work.

Duties:

  • Ensure project program compliance in coordination with planning teams.

  • Develop and maintain client relationships, liaise with key project stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with commercial team for periodic review of electrical project financials.

  • Identify and report on project risks and change requirements.

  • Coordinate with designers to ensure safe and effective electrical / MEICA project designs.

  • Ensure safe project delivery adhering to time, cost, and quality metrics.

  • Manage approved specialist electrical sub-contractors and supply chain partners.

  • Oversee operational electrical assets prior to client hand-over.

  • Generate timely progress reports for management.

  • Maintain electrical quality and safety standards throughout project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with relevant academic and training qualifications.

  • Prior experience in a similar project engineering role in the water industry or process / heavy engineering.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant project management software.

  • CITB (SMSTS) and/or CSCS qualified for managing safely.

  • Ability to manage multiple electrical projects to meet deadlines.

  • Full UK driving license and eligibility to work in the UK.

  • Working towards professional recognition with a chartered body is a plus.
