MEICA Commissioning Engineer opportunity is now open with a leading water contractor involved in key AMP 7 framework projects. 

Freelance Rate: £450 to £480 per day, reflecting the high level of expertise and the essential nature of the role.

Focusing on both clean and wastewater systems. This role is crucial for the smooth commissioning and integration of water system projects across the South Coast, particularly in Hampshire and Southampton.

Location: The position primarily covers the South Coast, notably Hampshire and Southampton, where you'll play a pivotal role in advancing our water treatment and management projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing, coordinating, and executing on-site commissioning activities daily to ensure projects progress efficiently.

  • Producing detailed project and Commissioning Completion Reports for assigned projects. Collaborating closely with Technical Documentation teams to ensure the timely provision of O&M manuals.

  • Overseeing the integration of new assets into current operations, mitigating risks to existing service levels.

  • Supervising and finalising all off-site testing and pre-commissioning activities conducted by suppliers or external parties.

We're seeking someone with:

  • Experience in water project commissioning, demonstrating a solid background in managing MEICA components within the water sector.

  • Proficiency in both MEICA and civil works, capable of navigating the complexities of multi-disciplined project interfaces.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, along with recognised qualifications such as CITB (SMSTS) and/or CSCS for managing safety on-site.

  • The ability to manage timelines across several projects efficiently, adhering to deadlines without compromising quality or project schedules.

  • A valid full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK.
