Assistant Site Manager - Water Industry
A leading tier-1 MEICA/Civil Engineering contractor is looking for an Assistant Site Manager to work on a water treatment project in Burntwood. Our client has secured major work across Severn Trent and will be at the forefront of implementing exciting and innovative technologies into this sector.
If you have experience in a Civils site-based delivery role and in water treatment/wastewater engineering then this opportunity is for you!
Duties of the Assistant Site Manager will include:
Work across multiple projects or one large scheme on the delivery of MEICA and Civil Engineer services in water.
Ensure that commissioning teams are kept up to date with project progress.
Overseeing/reviewing RAMS
Assist in ensuring a quality service is provided to the client.
Being involved in technical planning and programming the projects.
Ensure the project is running on time and budget.
Ensure health & safety is adhered to.
Be responsible for site inspections and progress reports.
Qualifications or experience:
IOSH, SMSTS or NEBOSH general certificate would be an advantage
Microsoft Office literate
Experience working in the water industry or similar chemical process-driven environment
